Another Quick Note

As I'm sure most of you have noticed, my blog got a major makeover thanks to Eva of Ramblings of a Janeite!  She did an awesome job- I absolutely love the new design.  Please let me know how you like it!

    Thanks for your comment and opinions on my Cosette/Eponine post. You pretty much nailed all the aspects of Eponine that I admire (I probably should have put more of that in my post). I don't hate Eponine at all, so don't get me wrong on that count! What I don't like is the slander that Cosette gets just because she ended up with a better life.

    One person commented and said that Cosette was the most despised character in the story and that's what I can't tolerate. Eponine definitely deserves admiration, but all I'm asking from people is to stop the Cosette hate. They sound ridiculous hating on a fictional character anyway.

    I think I just posted a comment longer than the one you left on my site!

    Heehee, we do post long comments on each others' sites, don't we? I love long comments though.
    Cosette the most despised character?! Usually that dubious honor goes to the Thenardiers. Cosette is a really sweet girl and one of my favorite characters.
    Eponine gets hated as much as Cosette, it just isn't as publicized. I agree, though...it's kind of ridiculous to hate a fictional character.
