Day Three: A Song That Makes You Happy

Hmmm, there are a lot of songs that make me happy.  But "For the First Time In Forever" probably wins the award for this one; every time I listen to it, I just want to go sliding down spiral staircases and hurling cakes around. :D

  1. YES. 'FTFTIF' always makes me smile...until it gets to Elsa's part. As for a song that makes me happy: I tend to listen to tragic musical theatre songs, but 'What Is This Feeling?' always makes me grin and there are several songs from Newsies that make me feel utterly joyful =)

  2. Yes, definitely!!
"I suddenly see him standing there,
a beautiful stranger tall and fair,
I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face!!"
    SO ME!! Haha.
    And Elsa's part is gorgeous.

  4. Elsaba (can I call you Elsie? I keep wanting to, for whatever reason :P),
Well...but Elsa's part is tragic, so it has a little of both--it makes me happy to listen to Upbeat Optimism and Downcast Tragedy, haha, and this song happens to include some of each. ;)
Snorrrt, I know what you mean about tragic theater songs--listening to "Do You Hear the People Sing?" always makes me INSANELY happy in the midst of an insanely sad musical. ;)
YES. Newsies always makes me want to leap around, well, like Batman. Ehehehe. (Sorry...that was bad. :P)

    Elizabethany,
YES! Anna is so adorkable, it's impossible not to feel cheery. ;) And then if I feel TOO happy, Elsa's part is readily available to give me my dose of Tragic Low Notes. ;)

    Jack,
So I'm not the only one who's always wanted to smash a cake? It looks like such fun. ;)
    But anyways. ME TOO!

    Miss Elliot,
    Yes, isn't it? <3 I love Frozen. :)

  5. I just watched Frozen for the first time in forever (as I said), and I realized that my comment was an understatement (thank you for pointing that out, my dear). I mean, it's still cute...
