Day 22: A Song That You Listen To When You're Sad

When I'm sad, I don't listen to happy songs.  Instead, I pull a Marianne and listen to the saddest songs I can think of--probably while swaying along to the music. :P
(Speaking of, what is it with all these "dream" songs?  The next thing I know, I'll be copying Betsy-Tacy and singing, "Dreaming, dreaming...of your red auto I am dreeeeeaming...")

  1. "Pull a Marianne," hahaha. Personally I think ALFOR is more sad though. ;)

  2. Melody,
Hahaha, my family uses it a lot. ;) Well, I'm of that opinion too (especially in the stage show, where it's mostly abstract since "Lovely Ladies" hasn't happened yet), but I'd already used ALFOR. :P

  3. I have never heard all of this song from the movie. Or anywhere, actually... *hides* I don't know why not. Listening to it now...
Oh, soooo sad. Oh my. I need to go watch the actual scene, if I can find it. Sad!!
And I tend to do the same thing, by the way. Heh. I mean, listening to sad songs when I'm sad. Well, sometimes, anyway.

  5. Miss Elliot,
What?! Hahaha. ;) Don't mind me...I'm glad you listened to it, though! It's so gorgeous, isn't it?

    Elizabethany,
Hahaha! I know what you mean...I don't know if I've ever gone quite so far as to toss my hair and dance (*cough* Though actually, my hair is quite short now, so I can't do the toss-toss thing. ;)), but I have a penchant for the dramatic--when nobody can see me. :P
